Basmaty private attendance application

Effective Date: June 21, 2026 Invite-only access No advertising or tracking

Introduction

Basmaty is a private attendance application made available to invited users through a configured access code. The app is not a public sign-up service, public directory, or self-service onboarding platform.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Basmaty collects, why it is used, how it is stored, and how users can request support or account deletion.

Basmaty does not sell personal information, does not serve ads, and does not use app data for third-party advertising or tracking.

Information We Collect

Basmaty collects the information needed to provide secure attendance, account access, scheduling, and authorized administration for the private deployment.

Data Type Purpose
Name and profile details Account setup, user identification, and authorized attendance administration.
Employment or attendance identifier Login, account matching, and avoiding duplicate accounts.
Password credentials Secure sign-in. Passwords are stored as salted hashes, not plain text.
Access code, role, and schedule assignment Connecting the user to the correct private deployment, permissions, and attendance rules.
Optional identity or profile image Registration review, identity confirmation, or profile display when provided by the user.
Attendance records Check-in and check-out history, attendance status, late status, and reports.
Precise location Confirming that attendance actions happen within configured work zones. If a delegate or field-location feature is enabled, location may also be used to show live position while the user has chosen to share it.
Local app preferences Language, saved session state, remembered login details if enabled, and location-sharing preferences.

Location Data

Basmaty uses precise location to validate attendance against configured work zones. Location is used only for app functionality such as attendance verification and optional live location sharing where that feature is enabled for the user.

Biometric Authentication

The app may ask the device operating system to verify the user with fingerprint or face recognition before sensitive actions such as recording attendance. Basmaty does not receive or store raw fingerprint or face template data.

Camera and Photo Library

If the user chooses to capture or upload an identity or profile image, Basmaty may request access to the camera or photo library for that action.

How We Use Information

  • To create and secure user accounts.
  • To record, validate, and display attendance activity.
  • To apply the correct role, schedule, and work-zone settings.
  • To provide authorized admin views, attendance reports, and support.
  • To prevent unauthorized access or misuse of the private deployment.

Storage and Service Providers

Basmaty uses Google Firebase and related Google Cloud services, including Cloud Firestore, to store and process app data. The app may use Google Maps services to show maps and configured location areas.

  • Data is sent over encrypted connections.
  • Passwords are stored as salted hashes.
  • Access is limited to the app owner and authorized administrators for the private deployment.
  • Google-hosted infrastructure provides security controls such as encryption in transit and at rest.

Sharing of Information

Basmaty does not sell user data. Information is shared only as needed to operate the app, provide support, or comply with legal obligations.

  • Authorized administrators: Attendance records, profile details, assigned schedules, and location information when required for app functionality.
  • Service providers: Firebase, Google Cloud, and Google Maps services that power the app.
  • Legal or safety needs: If required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or property.

Account Deletion and Retention

Signed-in users can request account deletion from inside the app by confirming their password. Users who cannot access the app can request help from support.

When an account is deleted through the current app flow, Basmaty removes the account profile, sign-in credentials stored for Basmaty authentication, attendance records, employee notes, stored live-location records associated with the account, and identity or profile images stored with that profile from the application database.

Some information may be retained only when required for legal, security, dispute-resolution, or backup purposes.

User Choices

  • You can remove location, camera, photo library, or biometric permissions in device settings.
  • You can turn off live location sharing inside the app when that feature is available to you.
  • You can contact support to ask questions about access, correction, or deletion of app data.

Some permissions are required for key app features. For example, attendance geofencing may not work if location permission is disabled.

Children's Privacy

Basmaty is intended for invited adult users and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will publish the revised version on this page and update the effective date.
